Scope and acceptance
These terms apply to Finocturne's calculators, comparisons, learning guides, case studies and related features. Finocturne Website Operator maintains the site and can be contacted at contact@finocturne.com. Please read these terms before use and stop the relevant use if you cannot accept them.
These terms apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law. They do not remove non-waivable user rights or designate a court. Data handling is addressed in the Privacy Policy; financial assumptions and risks are addressed in the Disclaimer.
What the service provides
The site provides education and general information about finance, economics and statistics. Its tools, charts and cases do not create a personalized advisory relationship or provide trading, asset custody or investment solicitation services.
Follow each tool's units, frequency, periods and stated assumptions. A calculated result does not establish real transaction terms or imply loan, investment or tax approval.
Your responsibilities and reasonable use
Check inputs, read limitations and take responsibility for your learning, sharing and decisions. Avoid unnecessary identifiers or sensitive information and ensure you may disclose any figures, text or images you share.
Normal browsing, student practice, teaching, research checks and reasonable quotation are intended uses. Independently verify important decisions and seek suitable professional assistance where appropriate.
Intellectual property and content use
Original text, charts, design and code are protected where applicable. Third-party names, trademarks and source materials remain subject to their owners' rights. Using a standard financial formula or public fact does not make it exclusive to Finocturne.
You are welcome to link to the site and quote appropriate portions with attribution for learning, teaching, commentary or research within fair use, quotation rights or other applicable legal exceptions. This is not a blanket license to copy the entire site, impersonate it, resell substantial content or remove rights notices. Contact us for reuse beyond what the law permits.
Links, quotation, indexing and sharing
You may share page links and generated results. Explain the inputs, periods and assumptions behind results and do not suggest that a link, screenshot or quotation constitutes endorsement of your product or investment advice.
Reasonable search indexing and accessibility tools are not prohibited merely because they are automated. Follow published crawling instructions, reasonable request rates and applicable law; do not bypass access controls or overload the service. External sharing platforms also apply their own use and retention rules.
Misuse and prohibited conduct
Do not attempt unauthorized access, steal information, distribute malware, damage or overload the service, bypass security, impersonate the operator, infringe rights, or use the site for fraud or other unlawful purposes.
Ordinary bug reports and responsible security disclosures are welcome. Do not obtain other people's data, continue attacks or publish directly exploitable sensitive details to demonstrate an issue.

Accuracy, availability and service changes
We work to check formulas and content and correct problems, but cannot guarantee that information is always complete, correct, current or suitable for a specific purpose, or that access will be uninterrupted. Maintenance, technical problems, security incidents or service changes may cause interruptions.
We may reasonably correct, change or discontinue features, explaining significant foreseeable changes where appropriate. Do not rely on the site as your only record: retain inputs and downloaded results you need.
Risk and limits of responsibility
